Come paddle for free at Wirth It! Free First & Last Thursdays!

Our mission is to make watersports like kayaking more accessible to everyone. One way we do that is through fun, free, family-friendly open paddle demos with our trained guides present to help you feel comfortable and safe on the water. Our guides are certified instructors by the American Canoe Association, with years of experience working with people of all backgrounds and abilities.

Level up, practice strokes and rescues, or just play on your own! Borrow from our fleet of kayaks and SUPS or bring your own. 

Wirth It! Open Paddle events are offered the first and last Thursday of each month, 5-7pm, at Wirth Lake from June-September. Remaining dates for the 2022 season are 8/4, 8/25, 9/1 and 9/29. Register in advance or drop in!
